Development

Streets of Ai was a group project for a Multi-user Authoring class at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. After one class we were talking about how we had never played a multiplayer flash game of the fighter genre, at least not one that you could play online at separate computers. We aren't saying they don't exist, its just that we have never seen one.

During the development process each of took on various tasks to finish the game in the game in the 4 week deadline. John, our instructor, and Jamie worked out with most of the actions with Dave and Joseph often looking over their shoulders trying to comprehend all that is going on in the code. Each person in the group also designed their own characters and animations. We all tried to keep the same pixel art style which Joseph developed the base for. True, a.k.a. 51 Cent, worked on the character select screen and game over screen. Marcello and Joseph worked on the title and level background. Dave worked on most of the sound work on the game. Although these were peoples main tasks, everyone worked really well with each other on almost every part of the game to get it functional. The music comes from Cicada.

Depending on the speed of your network you may experience some issues with lag. If you experience any major bugs while playing please let us know so we can look into them. Contact Us at fallout911@gmail.com with Streets of Ai Bug as the subject. Thanks and enjoy.
